Vietnam Furniture Hub (vietnamfurniturehub.com, "the Site") is an online directory that helps international buyers find furniture manufacturers and exporters based in Vietnam. This policy explains what information the Site collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It is written in plain language and is deliberately short.

Who operates the Site

The Site is operated by its founder from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. You can reach us at info@vietnamfurniturehub.com for any question about this policy or your data.

Information we collect

Supplier listings. Supplier profiles on the Site are built from information that companies have made public, such as their own websites, trade show materials, and industry association registries, and from information suppliers send us directly. This is business information: company name, address, products, certifications, and business contact details. Where a profile includes a named person, it is a business contact the company itself has published.

Contact and enquiry forms. When you send a message through a form on the Site, we receive what you type: typically your name, company, email address, and your message. We use it to reply to you and, where you ask us to, to pass your enquiry to the supplier concerned.

Supplier claim and edit submissions. Suppliers can review and correct their own listing through a private link we send them. We store the changes they submit, the time of submission, and the email address the link was sent to, so that a member of our team can check the changes before they are published.

Usage data. Our server records standard web logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of request. We also record aggregate interaction events on supplier profiles, such as when a visitor clicks to reveal a supplier's contact details. These events are counted per supplier and are used to show suppliers how much interest their listing receives. They are not linked to a named visitor.

Cookies. The Site uses only the cookies needed for it to work, such as protecting forms from abuse. If we add analytics in future, we will update this section and use a privacy-respecting configuration that does not track you across other websites.

How we use information

We use the information above to run the directory, respond to enquiries, publish and maintain accurate supplier listings, protect the Site from spam and abuse, and understand which listings visitors find useful. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Photographs and images

Supplier photographs displayed on the Site are either supplied to us by the company or used with its permission. Original image files are stored in a private cloud storage account controlled by the Site operator and are accessed only by our own software and staff for the purpose of preparing images for publication. If you believe an image on the Site is displayed without proper permission, contact us and we will review it promptly.

Where data is stored and who can see it

The Site runs on a server hosted by DigitalOcean in Singapore. Email to and from the Site is handled by Zoho Mail. Image files are stored in Google Drive. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. Within our team, access is limited to the people who need it to operate the Site.

Because the Site serves an international audience, information you send us may be processed outside your own country.

Software integrations

The Site's back-office tools connect to the operator's own Google Drive account using Google's APIs in order to manage the Site's image files. That access is confined to a single folder holding the Site's supplier photographs: our tools write only files they create themselves, and a service account under our control has read access to that one shared folder, so that photographs our staff place there can be published. The integration reaches no other part of the operator's Drive, and it does not access, request, or store any Google account data belonging to visitors or suppliers. Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

How long we keep information

Enquiry messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards for reference, then deleted. Supplier listing data is kept while the listing is live and for a short period after removal. Server logs are rotated and deleted automatically. Aggregate interaction counts are kept indefinitely because they contain no personal information.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Suppliers can ask for their listing to be updated or removed. Write to info@vietnamfurniturehub.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data protection law, and we will honour them.

Children

The Site is a business-to-business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Significant changes will be noted on the Site.
